Cristina Johnson

Cristina grew up in Pennsylvania and following High School graduation, moved to Arizona in 2006. She graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Accountancy as well as certificates in International Business and Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Following graduation, Cristina gained significant experience as a tax analyst, first with H&R Block and subsequently with US Airways. More recently, she has been providing tax and corporate structure advice to clients involved in business development and investments through a larger financial consultancy. In addition, Cristina is currently pursuing her CPA. Cristina supports AirFleet as a Loan Specialist, supporting the credit analysis and loan contracting functions.

Favorite Airplane: Any airplane that takes me somewhere new and exciting!

Best Aviation Moment: I hiked to the top of Flat Iron in Arizona with a few friends and after the long hike we sat there overlooking the city. As we were resting a few private airplanes appeared. They were flying all around the mountain and doing all kinds of stunts in the air. Being so close to them and watching them dive, flip and turn was mesmerizing. That was the closest I ever got to an air show and it was very memorable!

Words I live by: Live your life to the fullest. Be kind, be passionate, and never settle for less than what you are capable of.

Where I got my start: I realized at a young age that finance and accounting came relatively easy to me so I pursued a degree in Accountancy. During my time at ASU I was encouraged by a friend to work for H&R Block where I was certified to be a tax preparer and enjoyed the ability to help others with my knowledge and discuss strategies that would provide financial benefits in the future. From there I went on to specialize in Taxation and enhance those skills.

Outside the office: I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, spending time with my family and friends, singing/playing guitar and exploring new experiences.
