Michaela Lewis

Originally from Chicago, Michaela moved to Arizona upon entering High School. She attended Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, where she was first introduced to the world of aerospace through the school’s Air Force JROTC program. After attending a local college, she began her career at an aluminum extrusion mill specializing in the production of Aerospace products. She started there as an assistant to the sales team moving into Inside Sales after a short time. Michaela leads a very busy life as a mother of five children. She is active in her children’s lives and serves on the PTO at their school. She is a Disney fanatic, enjoys yoga, crafts, reading and travel in her spare time.

Favorite Airplane: The A-10 “Warthog” or the B-2

Best Aviation Moment:  My family used to go to the Chicago Air and Water show every summer when I was younger. One year, the Blue Angels were demonstrating over Lake Michigan and just when we thought they were done, they flew back around and above the city from behind us in the coolest formation. Not only did it look like the wings were touching from being so close, it seemed as if they had come through the city, between the buildings, just to give us one last “wow” moment.

Where I got my start:   As a Sales Assistant turned Inside Sales Rep for an Aluminum Extrusion company who specialized in the production of Aerospace products.

Outside the office: You will almost always find me spending time with my husband and our five kids. I enjoy spending time outside, crafting, baking, and take any chance I can to travel.
