Project Description
Tasha was raised in Newport Beach, CA, just a stone’s throw from from John Wayne Airport. Tasha began her career journey at Disneyland. It was there that she met her husband, Allen, while they both balanced their roles at the theme park with their college studies. Before relocating to Arizona in 2014 for Allen’s career, Tasha served as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Pacific Life Insurance Company.
In Arizona, Tasha has been a dynamic force in her community. Along with her three daughters, she became an active member of the Girl Scouts, where they formed a travel troop dedicated to selling cookies and funding memorable travel experiences. Her commitment to community service was recognized with the “Great Neighbor Award” from the Town of Queen Creek and the Volunteer of Excellence Award from the Girl Scouts. Tasha started a small pet and house sitting business, Sassy Sisters Pet Sitting, to teach her daughters about being an entrepreneur. Eight years later, her business now has over 200 clients and 2 part-time employees. With a rich background in executive support, community engagement and entrepreneurship, Tasha brings a wealth of experience and a vibrant spirit to her role.
Favorite Airplane: The Super Guppy! I got the pleasure of watching it land at Mesa-Gateway Airport a few times and met the pilots.
Best Aviation Moment: Getting a tour, with my Girl Scout troop, of the air tanker that drops fire retardant on forest fires at the Phoenix Interagency Fire Center! We even made the news and local newspaper!
Words I live by: “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
Where I got my start: I’ve taken a piece from every job and experience to get me to where I am today. Customer Service, Employee Relations, HR – Disneyland and Sales and Marketing, Accounting – being an entrepreneur and owning my own business, Girl Scouts
Outside of the office: You’ll find me running my small business, boating, paddle boarding the Salt River, ziplining, crafting, selling Girl Scout cookies with my youngest daughter, and planning our next Girl Scout and family travels.
