Requirements To Get Your Jet Loan In Texas

The following items are needed to complete our underwriting analysis. Note that the amount of information requested may differ slightly depending on the purchase price of the aircraft and your financial situation:

Applicant (Guarantor) Personal Information

  • Current Pay Stub.
  • Aircraft Specification Sheet.
  • Complete Application – sign/date page 3.
  • Personal Financial Statement (PFS) can be completed on our application form, or you may attach your own.
  • Copy your Bank/Brokerage Statements (as listed on PFS) – account summary statements verifying name, date, and balance.
  • 2 Years of Federal Tax Returns, including schedules, statements, W2s & K1s.

Business(es) Applicant Owns

In this case, you’ll need all the information listed above plus the following:

  • Copy of Corporate Bank/Brokerage Statements.
  • Year-to-date Financials (P&L and Balance Sheet).
  • 2 Years of Federal Tax Returns, including schedules, statements & K1s.

For Loans over $1 Million

Requirements for loans over $1 million are the information listed above plus:

  • 3 Years of Personal and Corporate Tax Returns.
  • Include 3 years CPA-Audited, reviewed, or compiled financials with notes, if available.

Our Easy Jet Loan Application Process

To get started, there are some steps you need to take, including:

Step 1: Preparing Your Application Package

To serve you better and faster, we recommend that you submit your application with all the requested details and supporting financial documents.

Step 2: Submitting your Application Package

Forward your application and supporting information to us via one of the following:

Step 3: The Underwriting Process

  • Upon receiving your application, we’ll contact you to confirm the receipt.
  • After our initial review, we’ll contact you with questions or to request any missing items.
  • When the underwriting is complete, AirFleet Capital will issue a formal approval letter with the rates/terms and any additional conditions before closing.

Our Closing Process Explained

Once your loan is approved, several steps need to be completed before you can close on the loan and get flying. Below is a helpful outline of what you can expect:

Step 1: Congratulations! You’re Approved

We’ll email you the final terms of approval and a formal letter once everything has been confirmed. To close, please review your approval and take care of any outstanding items or stipulations that need to be met.

Step 2: When You Have A Date For Closing

  • Please inform us at AirFleet Capital of the date you would like to book.
  • If you don’t already have one, a closing specialist will be assigned to you.
  • Send the insurance information found in the approval email to your insurance agent.
  • If you have registration entity documents, please send them to your closing specialist at AirFleet Capital.
  • One of our closing specialists will call you to go over the documentation process, confirm all details, and let you know of any other items needed before we can close your loan.
  • To make your transition as smooth as possible, we’ll liaise with any other parties or entities involved in the process, such as your insurance agent and the FAA escrow company.

Step 3: Your Closing Documents Are On The Way

  • Once you qualify for a loan, we’ll send the documents through email or FedEx.
  • After you receive the documents, please read them thoroughly and follow the instructions for where to sign and get them notarized.
  • Return the original signed/notarized documents to AirFleet Capital /escrow company.

Step 4: Your Loan Documents Are Under Review

Once the AirFleet Capital /escrow company receives your documents and the other necessary items to close (listed on your approval letter), we’ll be able to fund the loan.

Step 5: Congratulations! Your Aircraft Loan Has Been Funded!

  • After closing, we’ll email you a package that contains the terms and contact information for your loan, along with copies of all relevant documents.
  • 30-90 days after your purchase is finalized, you’ll receive an email from us with a post-closing title search. This document will demonstrate that your aircraft has been recorded permanently and accurately at the FAA.
